Short answer: On 30 October 2026, the five individual digital marketing trainers in Mumbai with the strongest record you can check were Hitesh Motwani, me (Shezad Ali Khan), Pallavi Sakharkar, Chetan Singh and Chandan Thakur. Each has at least 20 reviews on their own Google Business Profile.

Why individuals and not institutes

If you search “digital marketing trainer in Mumbai” on Google Maps, institutes fill the screen: IIDE (where I used to teach) has 1,417 reviews, DMTI Softpro 1,242 and LIPS India 711. Those are schools with many trainers, and their reviews tell you about the school. This list is for the person who will actually stand in front of your class or your team.

The rule for getting on the list

• Their own Google Business Profile has at least 20 reviews. Any star rating counts.
• They’re an individual in Mumbai or the wider MMR. An academy with several named trainers counts as an institute.

Hitesh trains companies on generative AI: AI agents, Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, plus programmes for leadership teams and live batches for individuals. The site claims 17+ years in corporate learning and names clients including Google, Microsoft, Siemens, Samsung and Pfizer. It also lists Hitesh as visiting faculty at nine IIMs and the University of London, and as the author of Generative AI 360° (ZebraLearn, 2025). Nobody else on this page names that much checkable work.

Worth knowing: the focus today is AI training for companies, though the Google listing still says “Digital Marketing Trainer and Agency”. The site lists Mumbai and Dubai.

I’ve trained 1,500+ people across 38 cohorts. I’m a Skill India certified trainer (NSQF Level 6), a former Lead Trainer at IIDE, and I’ve given guest lectures at Hinduja, Thakur and Pillai colleges. Right now I teach the Practical AI Masterclass in batches of seven at my Jogeshwari office, with one-on-one guidance inside the batch, alongside digital marketing and SEO training for individuals and teams.

Where I lose points: reviews. Pallavi has four times as many as I do, and Chetan nearly five times.

Worth knowing: the site shows client logos without naming them, and it mentions classes in Andheri West as well as the Thane listing.

Worth knowing: the site gives a first name only and names no clients, so ask to sit in on a class or see a past student’s project.

Chandan founded DGmark Institute and DGmark Agency. The site claims 10+ years of experience, 5,000+ students trained and 300+ businesses served. The DGmark Institute branches have their own Google listings with more reviews; I’ve counted only Chandan’s personal listing, because this list is about the trainer, not the institute.

Worth knowing: the site says “certified and award-winning” without naming who issued the certification or the award.

Who missed the cut, and why

Bhavik Shah (4.8 from 24 reviews, Goregaon East) also passes the rule, but scored 34 and came sixth, mainly because the listing links no website, so there was nothing to check on years in practice or past work.

RushiPandit – Digital Academy in Thane West has 907 reviews, but its site names three trainers, so it’s an institute under my rule.

Abhay Ranjan (65 reviews) and Alpesh Vaghela (250 reviews) came up in Mumbai searches for AI trainers, but their listings are in Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

Tushar Chawatekar offers training too, but the listing and the website headline are about web design, so Tushar is on my web developers list.

How to choose between them

The five people here train for different needs. Hitesh is the pick for company-wide AI programmes. Chetan’s courses are SEO only. Pallavi and Chandan run regular classes for career switchers. I teach small batches where people build real projects, and I take college workshops and in-house team training.
